- Eniya Russell capped UK’s scoring drought at 4:42 on a three-point field goal.
- It was balanced scoring the rest of the way, as NC State led Kentucky, 31-16, at the end of the first quarter.
- Kentucky and NC State each scored just four points through the first two-and-a-half minutes of the second quarter.
