WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HOSTS RADFORD ON SATURDAY

MOREHEAD, Ky
. – The Morehead State Women’s Basketball team will look to end a two-game skid on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. ET when it welcomes Radford to Johnson Arena.

The Eagles, now 2-4 overall in their 2019-20 season, host the Highlanders after suffering a hard-fought loss at No.13 Kentucky and a setback at home against North Carolina A&T.

Radford, which competed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament after winning the Big South Conference Tournament championship, visits sporting a 2-3 overall record after suffering a home defeat to Mount St. Mary’s (Md.) on Tuesday.

Last season on Dec. 15, 2018, the Eagles defeated the Highlanders 79-72 on their home floor. 2018-19 graduates McKenzie Calvert and Miranda Crockett combined for 50 points to lead MSU.

The all-time series between Morehead State and Radford, which is being played in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1991-92, is even at 5-5.
