MOREHEAD STATE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ON TO VALPARAISO FOR TUESDAY EVENING MATCHUP

VALPARAISO, Ind
. – The Morehead State Women’s Basketball team will look to put an end to its two-game losing skid on Tuesday as its squares off with Valparaiso at the Athletics-Recreation Center at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The Eagles, set to play in their third-straight away game, enter Tuesday’s matchup with a 3-6 overall record for the 2019-20 season.

The Crusaders host as winners of four-straight games and sport an overall mark of 5-3.

This season, MSU and Valpo share a common opponent with both having faced Bowling Green. Morehead State fell to the Falcons on the road,79-65, in their season-opening game on Nov.9, while Valpo defeated BGSU at home in a 95-90 overtime contest.

Tuesday’s game will be just the second meeting between the Eagles and Crusaders in women’s basketball. Morehead State took the first matchup between the teams last season, earning a 68-62 win on Nov. 16, 2018 at Johnson Arena in the Vinewood Farm Classic.
