  • Kentucky used the starting combination of sophomore guard Rhyne Howard, senior guards Sabrina Haines and Amanda Paschal and junior forwards KeKe McKinney and Tatyana Wyatt. 
    • The Wildcats have used this starting combination in every game but one this season and are 9-1 with this starting five.
    • UK lost the tip for only the second time this season.
    • Sabrina Haines scored first for Kentucky, marking the second time this season that she has scored first.
  • Louisville scored 21 points in the first quarter, which was the most points UK has allowed by an opponent in the first quarter this season.
  • UofL topped that with 27 points in the third quarter, which is the most points UK has allowed in any quarter this season.
    • The previous high this season was 19 by Morehead State and Austin Peay.
  • Kentucky scored 24 points in the second quarter to take a 40-31 lead into the locker room at halftime.
    • This was the seventh straight game that UK has scored 40 or more in the first half.
    • UK’s 24 second-quarter points was its most in the second quarter of a game this season.
    • Kentucky ended the half on an 8-2 run after a jumper by Howard as time expired in the quarter.
  • The Wildcats took their biggest lead of the game at 55-45 with 3:14 to go in the third quarter, but UofL responded by ending the quarter on a 13-0 run to take a 58-55 lead at the break. 
    • UofL’s 13 straight points was the most consecutive opponent points UK has allowed this season.
    • The run continued in the fourth quarter to 17-2 giving UofL a 62-57 lead with 5:21to go in the game. UK would end the game on a 9-5 run.
  • Louisville had 67 points in the game, which is the most points UK has allowed an opponent this season.
    • The previous high UK allowed was 54 to Morehead State. The Wildcats were the only team in the SEC that had limited each of their opponents this season to 54 points or less. 
  • Kentucky went 10-of-19 from 3 in the game, marking the fourth straight game the Wildcats have hit 10 or more 3s.
    • This is the first time in program history that UK has hit 10 or more 3s in four straight games. The stretch started with 10 vs. Charlotte, 11 vs. Samford and 13 vs. Winthrop.
