St. Patrick Lady Saints Suffer 2nd Loss of the Season

Ripley, OH – There’s something to be said about playing a day game after on the night before. Just ask the St. Patrick Lady Saints.

Coming off a tough Friday night road win against Bracken County, The Lady Saints had a matinee matchup with the Lady Jays of Ripley. The afternoon game wasn’t kind to St. Partrick, as Ripley simply outplayed them in a 58-31 routing and only their second loss of the season.

Ripley’s Azyiah Williams was unstoppable as several St. Patrick’s players tried to defend her. Williams ended up with a game high 24 points, including buzzer beaters to then the half and third quarter.

Freshman guard Caroline McKay also finished with nine, hitting back to back threes in the fourth quarter. Seniors Justina Klee, Libby Gallenstein and Kelsey Tesmer combined for a total of 10 points for the Lady Saints.
