PREVIEW: Morehead States WOMEN’S BASKETBALL BACK AT HOME AGAINST REDHAWKS THURSDAY

MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Morehead State Women’s Basketball is set to host Ohio Valley Conference opponent Southeast Missouri on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Johnson Arena.

The Eagles enter the matchup coming off a four-game road stretch which concluded with a win a Jacksonville State on Saturday. Overall, MSU is 8-12 for the 2019-20 season and currently sports an even 4-4 OVC record.

SEMO visits possessing a 14-5 overall mark and a 6-2 record in OVC play. The RedHawks are currently on a five-game winning streak.

Senior Orlandra “Lala” Humphries and junior Jazzmyn Elston have
given the Eagles a major boost off the bench during OVC play.
Elston is leading the team in scoring against OVC competition with
14.6 points per game while Humphries paces the team on the
boards and ranks third in the league with 9.5 per game.
