Lady Saints Hold Off Pendleton County

Maysville, KY –The St. Patrick Lady Saints played conservative basketball against Pendleton County Thursday night and it almost cost them in the end. The Lady Saints blew a 16-point lead in the fourth quarter but managed to hold on and defeat Pendleton County 61-54 at the Shamrock.

St. Patrick placed three players in double figures, led by Allison Hughes with 17. Seniors Libby Gallenstein and Justina Klee had 11 and 10 respectively. The Saints have now won four of their last five games and improved their record to 13-10 on the year. They will return to action Saturday when they travel to Ashland for a matinee game with Rose Hill Christian.
