The drawings were held for the Whitaker Bank KHSAA Boy’s Sweet Sixteen and Mingua Beef Jerky KHSAA Girl’s Sweet Sixteen state basketball tournaments on Tuesday.
On the boy’s side region 10 will play the winner of region 1 on Wednesday March 18th at 8 pm. Favorites out of the 1st region include Paducah Tilghman (16-8), McCracken County (22-5) and Mayfield (15-7)
The 10th region girls will play the champion of the 3rd region Thursday March 12th at 8 pm. Top teams out of the 3rd region include Owensboro Catholic (17-9), Apollo (18-6) and Muhlenberg County (18-8).
Both tournaments will be played at Rupp Arena in Lexington and tickets can be purchased online at Sweet 16 Tickets.
