MOREHEAD, Ky. — Chris Cole, a 6-6 combo guard from Lilburn, Ga., is set to head north next fall to join the Morehead State men’s basketball program. Cole signed his National Letter of Intent this week.

“Chris is a long, athletic guard who can impact the game with his shooting and play-making ability,” said head coach Preston Spradlin. “We are excited to add him to our roster and increase our guard depth, length and versatility. His feel for the game, willingness to pass, and range as a shooter will fit in well with the players we have on our roster. Chris is just scratching the surface on his potential and being a part of our program will challenge him to reach that potential.”

Cole is set to wrap up his prep career this year at Brookwood High School for head coach Daniel Bowles’ Broncos.

As a junior in 2019-20, he averaged 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. He was above-average from the three-point line as well, shooting 43 percent.

Cole also plays for the Team Forrest club.
