SEC MEN’S BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

SEC Player of the Week – Texas A&M guard Tyrece Radford, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound graduate from Baton Rouge, La., averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in wins at Missouri and against No. 6 Tennessee. He was efficient from the field as he hit 53.1 percent (17-of-32) of his shots and connected on 80.0 percent (12-of-15) of his shots from the charity stripe. In the win against Tennessee, Radford had 27 points on 9-of-17 (52.9 percent) shooting along with five rebounds and five assists.

SEC Freshman of the Week – South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles, a 6-foot-7, 231-pound freshman from Columbia, S.C., averaged 23.5 points, eight rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in wins over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. He shot 22-of-28 (78.6 percent) from the floor in the two games. He had a breakout game against the Commodores with a career-high 31 points on 14-of-17 (82.4 percent) shooting to go with seven rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block.
