MOREHEAD, Ky. —
 After a much-needed break for family time, Morehead State men’s basketball has reconvened and is ready for its final non-conference game of the 2019-20 season. The Eagles host Alice Lloyd (Ky.) at Noon on Saturday.

Morehead State (5-7) will look for a good tune-up prior to opening Ohio Valley Conference action Thursday at home. The ALC Eagles, members of the NAIA, sit at 7-7 on the season under head coach Scott Cornett.

The game will air live on ESPN+ and on WIVY-96.3 FM.

GAME NOTES

• Morehead State leads a short-lived series with Alice Lloyd 2-0. The teams first met in 2007-08 and not again until 2017-18 when MSU won 103-56.

• Morehead State Head coach Preston Spradlin was a four-year player for Alice Lloyd from 2005-09.

• With six three-pointers made at Ohio, JordanWalker became just the second player in program history with at least 1,200 career points, 200 assists, 100 steals and 175 three-pointers made, with the only other player accomplishing that being Ricky Minard.

• In the last two games, senior guard Djimon Henson averaged 22.5 points per game. He tied his career high with 23 against Marshall and registered 22 at Ohio. That marked the first time in his career he posted back-to-back 20+ point efforts.

• The Eagles hit 75 percent (12-of-16) from the free throw line at Ohio. That was the second highest total for the season.

• MSU only turned the ball over eight times at Ohio. That was the second time this season the Eagles have made less than 10 turnovers. The four mistakes at William & Mary was te lowest total in the 2000s.

• The Eagles rank third in the OVC in blocked shots, turning away 4.1 opponent attempts per game.

• Junior guard Justin Thomas continues to leads the OVC in steals with 30, averaging 2.5 takeaways per outing.

• The Eagles drained a season-high 20 free throws against Marshall. The team got to the charity stripe a season-best 33 times.

• Morehead State has hit at least one three-pointer in 417 consecutive games. The last time the Eagles failed to drain one from distance was in 2007 against Jacksonville State.
