Augusta proves no match for GRC
Augusta started with a lot of energy scoring the first five-point of the ball game but that is the only lead that they would see for the entire game. Once George Rogers Clark, known as GRC, got into a rhythm Augusta had no shot. With the trapping press, GRC ran and turnover after turnover by Augusta which led to GRC to w quick and large lead. You had to know Augusta was never going away which they didn’t they came out for the second half hitting a quick few shots cutting into the lead but the manpower from GRC proved to be too strong for the Panthers to overcome. GRC moves on to play Bishop Brossart in the semifinals which take place this coming Monday, March 9th.
