Robertson county falls to Bishop Brossart in the opening round of the 10th Region Tournament. Robertson was able to keep Brossart at bay for most of the first half with a 3-2 zone that they played excellently. Not letting Brossart get out in transition was the key to Roberston’s success. With Brandon Dice leading the charge for Robertson county with 21 oints 6b boards 4 assist 1 blocked shot and 4 steals in 35 minutes of play. Brossart was able to keep close the entire game just staying in arms reach. Brossart was able to storm back getting a few key steals which lead to easy transition baskets and got within three of Robertson county. With 10.1 seconds left on the clock, Robertson County had two fouls to give and only elected to foul one time and ran 4 seconds off the clock. With the last second three by Brossart, they sent it into overtime. Brossart opened overtime with up-tempo and jumped out to a lead and didn’t look back. Brossart was lead with Ethan Eilerman with 25 points 12 boards 3 assists and 1 steal. Brossart moves on to play the winner of the Agusta vs George Rogers Clark game.
