Kaleb Lyons Tabbed to Associated Press All-American Team

MOREHEAD, Ky. — Morehead State sophomore defensive back Kaleb Lyons has earned an All-American accolade. The Antioch, Tenn., native was named on the Associated Press Third-Team All-American list for the Football Championship Subdivision.

Lyons finished the regular season ranked first (along with teammate Jihad McCall) in the FCS division with six interceptions. He is now ranked second. Lyons picked off a PFL and MSU record-tying three interceptions in the 47-17 win over Davidson.

He also had 34 tackles and led the team with nine pass breakups.

Lyons is the third Eagle to earn AP All-America, joining Vaughn Taylor, Jr., and BJ Byrd from 2021.
